Dear Sir Or Madam:

Hello my name is Daniela Olt, I am from Howell New Jersey, I am 7 years old. I am writing you today because I want to do my part to help the people of Haiti.

I watch the news with my mommy and one picture of a little boy who looked so sad made me cry and cry. I learn things from the news, my mom and school about what happened to the people in Haiti after the earthquake. I know people are sending money and clothes and food. I thought to myself besides that what would I need? I came up with the idea that I would want to feel safe, as a 7 year old besides my mommy, my bunny at night makes me feel safe. Every child should have a stuffed animal it makes you feel good to have something to hold that’s your own. So I told my mom and she helped me write this letter. I would like all the kids in Haiti to feel as safe as they can during this time. I would like all the children to have a teddy bear or other new stuffed animal to hold and feel safe even for a moment. I also would like each child to have a box of cookies, nothing can be better than love, a stuffed toy and cookies to make me feel better and safe.

I hope I can reach out to every Bear and Cookie company and to the people around my county of Monmouth county to help in my idea, to donate and gather enough teddy bears or other new stuffed animals and a box of cookies to send to the kids in Haiti.

On Friday February 26th 2010, The Bandy Group will be attending The 5th annual Bachelor Auction being held at the elegant Eagle Oaks Country Club.

The Benefit is a fundraiser put on by The Ashley Lauren Foundation. The monies raised that evening will go to give help and hope to children battling cancer.

Meet my client Mary……Mary sees dead people….ok, ok, technically she doesn’t see them, she just feels their presence.

To be serious, Mary is a client of mine that was referred to me by a former client.
Although we are polar opposites, my former client thought we would be a perfect fit for each other.

In the end, the truth is….I have learned so much from Mary and I know that we will be friends for life.
Here is Mary’s story in a nutshell:

I have been working with Mary for about 6 months. Mary is a ready willing and able buyer. In those 6 months, Mary has either been out bid on properties or the property that she was suppose to buy did not appraise, etc…for whatever the reason….. the reality is that Mary still does not have a new home to move into.

On a cold morning, Mary calls me and states that she wants to show me something…..a home…..a home which I did not show her…..a home that is completely boarded up. A home she feels is haunted. A home she feels compelled to purchase. A home that keeps calling her back and Mary, honestly feels that since the day she previewed that house, something has attached themselves to her and she will not be able to move on in life unless she buys that home.

Truth is, Mary can’t buy that house because the home is in need of major repairs and the bank will not lend her the money, so we must continue on with our home search even though she feels this overwhelming need to live in that particular house.

Aaawww…..these are the days my mother wonders why she put me through school.

Good news though, as of today….Mary is under contract on another home and she is scheduled to close next month.
Help me wish her luck.

I was about to begin to film a video blog when my client called through.

I decided to allow the cameras to continue filming because I wanted you all to see the interaction between my client and myself.

I really do think he is extremely funny and I truly enjoy working with him and his family.

I know that they will be so happy living in Colts Neck.

I received an email from a Viewer named Michael. Michael wanted to confirm that we do actually send out 16,000 post cards a month and he also wanted to know if we would allow him to design a marketing piece for The Bandy Group to use in one of our monthly mailings.

I think that is a fantastic idea!

We are absolutely open to having the viewing audience submit a piece that they have specially designed for us.

If we choose your piece….we will not only use the marketing material, we will also invite you to come on the show or if you are not local, we will do a video conference with you and we will film it on our end.

We were on location at Perkins in Colts Neck New Jersey. In this scene, I was making sure the Director and Producer knew to get the Perkins sign in the shot due to the fact that I’m always there …lol.

I had a meeting yesterday with a mortgage banker that I met 14 years ago.  Who would have thought the tables would be turned on me.
